Hollis Brown, the dirty blues rock band from Queens, are no strangers to Asbury Park. The guys have played steadily in the area for the last few years.
Now, they make their debut at the city's Saint nightclub on Saturday, May 6.
“We have had the pleasure of rocking in Asbury Park quite a bit the last few years,” said Mike Montali of Hollis Brown via email. “From supporting Jesse Malin and Willie Nile at the iconic Stone Pony to playing the amazing Light Of Day Foundation, it is always a beautiful place with amazing people. Can't say enough about the people there, they know their music. Music is in their DNA.”
The guys, named after a Bob Dylan song, have a new single out, “Run Right to You,” and they also play Rough Trade NYC in New York City on Friday, May 5.
